De Stijl, what?

My Father had the brilliant idea to offer us a Red-and-Blue armchair.

This type of design is a little bit outside my comfort zone, so I made some researches.

The Red and Blue Chair is a chair designed in 1917 by Gerrit Rietveld (The Netherlands). It represents one of the first explorations by the De Stijl art movement (aka neoplasticism) in three dimensions.
